Meet the instructor
Judy Freides
Judy has been a total rewards specialist since 1996, with the majority of her career spent as the corporate global compensation leader in three multinational Fortune 500 companies — Honeywell, Tyco, and Becton Dickinson.
In these roles, Judy’s accomplishments include leading the global implementation of Workday’s advanced compensation module, the integration of acquisitions/mergers, the development of salary ranges in dozens of countries, the implementation of enterprise-wide grade structures using job evaluation, and the execution of the annual compensation planning process.
Judy’s early career was spent as an executive compensation consultant at Mercer and then at Hewitt Associates. It was in these roles that she learned the fundamentals of compensation and had her first exposure to top executives and Board members. Judy holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Michigan. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Tufts University.
